Anyone playing good old D&D? We have been doing that 3.5 for two years and it's so much fun. All those adventures and fun/sad seens, nice... having 4 different campaigns going so it's a bit hurry. I guess i have to create something nice for the next playing session... been only two months DM, so... still some training is needed

i ve always been fan of D&D especially the Planescape and Al-Qadim settings

Too bad... It's very difficult to be in good mood if someone else is bored in game session. Maybe i should ACTUALLY READ the dungeonmaster's guide :/
perhaps it would help dealing with players outside the gameworld

I'm not actually in the the first campaign because i became a rolepalyer a bit later. Sad thing really

, boys always telling how amazing things they're DM has created. Pro DM, i've heard. Lots and lots of epic battle, scary places and so...

I guess i haven't really seen the best gameplay yet

the DM book is mainly another rulebook, items, tables for encounters and stuff like that ..
most of the real stuff u need to learn as a DM ll come as u play

i'd say the most important thing is ambiance/description and improvisation (always have lotsa lil notes behind yer DM screen

ex: a paper with 20 random names for improvised NPC
